On the PPS forms for Outfall 001, the detection level achieved for arsenic was listed as 2.0 µg/l.  It’s required to be 0.5 µg/l.  The test result was listed as <0.5.

Loretta,

The wastewater discharges from the chemical plant are as follows:

 

From the Formaldehyde plant – RCI distillates

From the Resin Manufacturing – Glass Mat distillates, Prepolymer distillates, Vacuum sump discharges, and Red water impoundment discharges

From the Tall Oil plant – API separator discharges

 

They also discharge storm water runoff from the site as well as boiler and cooling tower blow-down.  Please let me know if you need any additional information.
